His article in Public Culture (2000, 12(2), "Towards a Critique of Globalcentrism: Speculations on Capitalism's Nature," and his essay "After Empire: Reflections on Imperialism from the Américas" in Stoler and Mcgrahanhan's edited volume Imperial Formations (2007), both develop these points.
