Okay first of all. That KCON screenshot looks to be from Summer 2020. Chuu hadn't blown up yet in South Korea, it mainly started in late 2020/early 2021. So she was not making any money. Hell, back then Heejin was probably making more money than Chuu. She had no ads/CFs yet at that time. I still think it's weird they gave her a full week of dorm cleaning when they seem to switch between members every other day, but I'm sure they have their reasons. Maybe she skipped a month of cleaning for whatever reason and now she had to get those days back.
Second of all, we literally do not know if she in fact did or did not sue her company. That rumor came from somebody who literally edited a Wikia page and posted it without any sources. Basically no real Korean news outlets picked up on it (which they literally would have otherwise if it had any sort of source because it would be a huge topic of discussion that a GG member would literally sue her company. They would have loved to cover news about it). The only """"new outlets"""" that picked up on it are the likes of allkpop, pannchoa and what not...Not real news, guys.
Thirdly, the girl is LITERALLY participating in their comeback MEANT TO BE RELEASED JUNE 20TH, 2022! That is in 16 days from when this comment is being written. She is LITERALLY in the teaser picture, and they even have her name along the other 11 members on the teaser. Pleaaaaaaaaaaase, use some logic. Just a bit. You can do it. Just a little.
They also just participated on Queendom 2. Literally ended like two days ago. She was smiling brightly along her members and slaying the house down on stage as she often does.
My theory? The company is being greedy. If she joins the tour in August, then she can't do any side gigs (where they would take a certain sum of money) because she would be busy touring with the rest of the group. By making her sit out the tour, she can actually take side gigs during August. So you've got 11 members touring, thus making you money, and you've got another member doing side gigs, thus making you even more money. And since it's a business at the end of the day, the company doesn't care that they're potentially ruining some fan's experience because it's all about the money.
