Thanks for the account, anonymous teacher. If your parents were Holocaust survivors, then I'm guessing you're near the end of your career. As soon as you're able, I would like to suggest you go out with a bang, and make your point in a very public way. Make sure you've got safe living arrangements set up, and that you're secure financially before you do this. But do it you should!
