I just discovered TubiTV a couple of months ago after fighting with the Indians (Sacred Cow not Great Spirit) who do customer service for DirecTV. (They sent the installer to the correct street address in the wrong state and it was maddening trying to explain things to them).

There are woke commercials that pop up as with everything these days, but they are much shorter and infrequent than if you were to watch regular TV. I normally turn off the sound when the commercials come up. They don't have the selection of Netflix, but you can find all kinds of interesting documentaries, classic films, and foreign films. You hardly have to come across any affirmative action hires in movies as a result. I would highly recommend checking it out if you haven't already.
