These first person accounts are very important. I like that he immersed himself in classical Western .....stuff. I am 60, I have a neighbor who is 30 and white and is amassing a library of classics, nothing written after 1980. He reads to his 2 young children every night for an hour. He knows what he needs to do. I wish more did.
