Interesting what the article says about the Chinese. When I was working in the San Francisco Bay Area, most open houses had throngs of Chinese visitors. The real estate market went through the roof. It made me wonder how a Chinese who just arrived here recently, had maybe one person working, could afford the housing prices. It is all about networks. As the article says, dozens of names on the same mortgage. Chinese banks were also shooting up in the neighborhood. I wonder what rates they charged. Some say that Chinese are good citizens. Yes, but at what prize, by squeezing us out of neighborhoods and jobs. It is not because they are especially bright, but as an individual you have no chance against ethnic networks.
