As posted above I would think that a legit judge would allow Adam generous visiting rights to his sons, BUT Adam has no patience and no idea of how the kids would feel, since they don't know him at this time. Maybe further down the road if and when he forms a relationship with them the custody issue could be revisited but for now these boys are probably around 5 or 7 and not chattel that can be shipped around when they are happy and secure in their homes. Adam does not desrve and should not receive custody of either boy now. Also the stuff Kevin dug up about Nick impersonating JT is old news now and shouldn't affect any custody hearings. In all custody hearings what is best for kids (not necessarily the adults) should be first and foremost.
