Since I’m sure there will soon be people here soon to say how much they hated the finale I thought I would go ahead and get my thoughts out here and then leave. I thought the ending was about as perfect as the ending for a story like this could be so I am satisfied. Everyone ended up about where I thought they should all end. If you truly unbiasedly look at the story from beginning to end this is what was always going to happen. I am impressed that the writers did what was needed to be done rather than what the fans wanted.
Also a huge round of applause for Peter Dinklage for, as always, an excellent performance. Loved the final seen with the Stark family and then their final shots fulfilling their destiny, GHOST! Loved the scene with Brienne completing Jamie’s legacy. The final Small Council was perfect. Yea Podrick! Final scene and music perfect.
