Okay, since we are being anecdotal, I will throw in a couple. First, shortly before graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point, I was talking with some friends of mine seated around a large table in the library. There was one black cadet at the table. During the discussion, he commented "If we ever go to war in Africa, you know that I will have to kill you guys." He was not joking. Lastly, there was a black major that I got along with fairly well while I was stationed at Fort Sill, OK. He commented that all Southerners should have been exterminated at the end of the Civil War. He was not joking. Needless to say, I never talked to him again. I do not need a bunch of idiots to tell me that my life experiences mean nothing and that I can't generalize.
