I don’t put much weight into this poll. New ideas often times elicit a negative response. As time goes on, and the concept gets hold, people drop their objections. Especially when it’s really a positive. I have no issue with my X’s notch. I rather enjoy it. I don’t see it going away either. A mechanical front facing camera or other solution that eliminates or reduces IP rating seems like an bad idea and front facing cameras can only go one place, on the front of the phone.
Run the same poll about headphone jacks. I’ll bet the % of people who will not buy a phone without one is relatively low. But if you ran that poll when Apple removed it originally, the same poll would have yielded the opposite result.
