When I attended community college in California some 25+ years ago, the first day in any classroom was literally standing-room-only and packed with 'diversity'. As each class progressed the diversity dropped out, until by finals, the size went from 40 students to about 12. Always pretty much Whites, Asians and one or two token Hispanics.
