So the price is driven by operating cost and including rent and a desired margin. I am assuming a diner on Northern Blvd pays lower rent than RI. Bel Aire which probably more comparable diner , since its in less industrial more residential with similar client base 2 eggs & bacon is is 8.95. A egg sandwich is 6.00 at bricktown bagels and tha's without home fires. So I think there prices are probably realistic in terms of cost and desired margin.

For I want food that is better than what I cook at home , other wise its waste of money no matter what it costs. And we don't and I don't think have ever had that on island and really only have it with 1-2 places on seamless.

I will say though if they charge 12.00 and still try serve reheated bacon that was from hours ago(also deep fried rather than cooked on a flat top ) like they use to as trellis then it will probably eke out a living but wont' do well.
