While I wish Kaie/Alex the best, unfortunately the prices are too high ($12 bacon/eggs), and missing the "diner" touch. Regular food at regular prices gets regular customers. At New York Diner on Northern Blvd, next to Best Buy and across from Home Depot, they have regular food, like bacon and eggs for $4.95.
I think this will be an interesting study on whether $12 for bacon/eggs is the new retail environment. Considering Subway and the deli compete for customers at $5-6 for sandwiches, I'm guessing the $12 price point is on the wrong side of the Knee in the price-demand curve.
