What a legend! What an enjoyable read. How I miss the age of architects with society at the height of their ideals and concerns. I think he is slightly misunderstood. He isn't against high-rise living, just not as social housing.

And on that point, after initially disagreeing, I think I am now coming around. Not because I don't think high rises are workable, but because I think they have allowed intentional neglect at a state level to foster. Utopia became the dystopia. I cant believe he lives in Dunboyne, I pass by the estate all the time and think of him. I had no idea he actually lived there!
