The Bell Curve was the first 'racialist' book I ever read. I was utterly enthralled, I had happened upon a fount of knowledge that changed my perspective on race completely. I proceeded, in quick succession, to read every book Murray ever wrote (and numerous papers by Herrnstein); all excellent, if you're wondering. Human Accomplishment is my favourite.
But this work led me down the rabbit hole, I have now read countless books on race, I just can't stop myself, it's such a fascinating subject (partially because it is taboo, I think). The infuriating thing is that I can’t discuss it with anyone, lest I be called racist (I have lost a number of friends for less).
