Many years ago I worked with a Nigerian woman and an old White American hippie lady boss. One day they had a friendly argument over British colonialism. Of course my hippie boss thought it was awful whereas the Nigerian pointed out all the good the British brought (schools, written language, hospitals, railroads). Eventually Hippie boss gave up in frustration.
