I once saw "The Buddy Holly Story" because I had been inspired by some of his music. They made the guy look squeaky clean, completely morally upstanding and a pioneer against racism (his wife had Hispanic heritage and he punched the drummer for referring to her as "dark meat"). The point being, the movie sucked because he came out bland and predictable even though he was interesting when you listened to his music. To put it another way, when they "blackwash" all the black characters they come out hollow and unbelievable just as Buddy Holly did for me in that movie that was supposed to be a great tribute to him. It's a formula that has been on repeat since at least the 80's. If you actually watch the black characters in pretty much any mainstream series today, you will see black supporting and thoughtful characters without a flaw or if they do it will not be of their own doing. Without exception. This is why they end up looking so bad and making people's eyes roll.

It's the same concept as when someone is telling you about their horrible ex. If 100% of everything is the fault of their spouse in every story, you KNOW someone is full of it. It's one of the earliest patterns we recognize and a general strategy for narrowing down questions on lamestream multiple-choice tests. Never choose never or always, etc.

Blacks in media seem to be stuck in the 80's. Where are their Walter Whites? You allow someone to not only be human but to be a very flawed human and it can bring out a whole new level of understanding and storytelling. I have made a point to NEVER see any of these types of movies when they involve black people even back in my much more liberal days. I somehow was aware of this nonsense way back then too, I learned to believe that most mainstream movies sucked and would always suck for the most part even given multi-million dollar budgets.

The black supportive friend who is there to help the (usually female and multicult ally) has gotten so old as well- every single white woman seems to hang out with a black woman who loves to help her pour over her problems and asks for nothing in return. She is too busy working and living a successful life in her safe and clean childless apartment just around the block.

Now you see all kinds of scenarios to squeeze a black kid or mulatto female or black male with glasses into every commercial. I actually started counting the number of times blacks didn't appear at all when people were present years ago whenever I would watch any t.v. The commercials are such a deal breaker with what we have available, it's such a replaceable addiction. Being told how we can give more of our endless money for products that we most likely don't need because our family is important just got to be too much, too insulting. Maybe when NFL linebackers start dry humping white smiling cheerleaders in the female dog position will some of these groid worshipping men tune off and do something more fitting like building or maintaining something. Blacks ALWAYS fail on their own, gibs or no gibs. Just as you don't need to watch them, you don't need to actively fight them. You just have to avoid them. They hate that more than anything.
