They are honest enough to publicly admit when they are wrong and correct their mistakes instead of going on a massive ego trip. They cover developers and games that others would ignore for not being Triple A or being 'too indie' or 'too niche'.

Kind of sad that two of the three things I listed are supposed to be the standard in the industry and yet now its so rare to see them that any site that has them is a shining light in the darkness.
